Det här ser i mina ögon ut som en hona Sibirisk Hjejle! Lägg märke till fågelns byggnad och proportioner med kraftigare huvud, kortare akter, längre ben, och längre och kraftigare näbb än Amerikansk Hjejle. Vidare uppvisar den för mycket ljust i huvudet och på kroppsundersidan för en Amerikansk Hjejle. AH uppvisar normalt mer ljust i pannan samt mörkare flanker och undre stjärttäckare än den här fågeln.
